Poudre Canyon...

This is the canyon right by our house- about 25 minutes away. There is a big river- Poudre River that runs right through the canyon. It's gorgeous and there are a bunch of parks and trails up there. We are just hanging out with some of our friends- Laurel, Russ, Jackson and Cannon. Joe is attempting to fish with Cooper but he lost interest in about 2.5 seconds when nothing happened.

Adorable little muchkin!!

Josie is just too cute for words! She is so fun and happy all the time... a dream baby really. She has started eating solids, rolls over like crazy and scoots on her tummy all over the place. She is SO much fun! The first thing Cooper says in the morning is "baby- where's baby?!" And then he runs over and kisses her. It's SO cute!

Sew time!

Just a few items I have been working on. My friends and I want to open up a little business (more like sweat shop!) And here are a few items we have been working on. A name sign- that didn't turn out as cute as I had hoped and a couple little kids cooking aprons- which were so easy! We are hoping to get some of our things into a few stores around here. That would be SO awesome! Meanwhile... I am just practicing and experimenting with different ideas.

Enjoying the last of summer...

We love to eat out on our patio and we are SO enjoying the semi-cooler weather lately. Cooper always wants to eat outside- he loves to watch the cars and big trucks go by.

Josie's room...

As promised... here is Josie's room finally! It has taken me so long to get the kids rooms finished... between trips, unpacking, watching the kids, and my insane inability to focus and finish a project I am surprised it's almost finished! It took me a while to do the bedding (when you only have 1/2 hour here and 1/2 hour there- everything takes a while!) But all in all I am pleased with it and it turned out pretty cute I think. I still want to put up some bead board and a chair rail and fix the curtains and change the sheets to cream... blah blah. COMING SOON- Cooper's room.

Sew cute!

In an effort to work from home I have decided to do a little sewing on the side. I am just practicing for now and Josie gets to be my guinnee pig! These are some simple pants I made. I am hoping to make some really cute bags, aprons, pants and pillows. So hopefully soon I will be good enough to sell my stuff... better get practicing!

Cooper and Jude... playdate

Cooper loves his new friend Jude-he's tough just like Cooper and that's hard to find! So they play in the mud, wrestle and play rough and I don't have to worry about someone getting hurt! It's great! Here we are at Jude's house playing in the pool/mud and eating lunch. And Josie is just loving watching her crazy brother.

10 year reunion!!

Recently I went to Cali for my TEN YEAR REUNION!!! It was SO much fun! Nobody has changed and everyone was so nice- it was great. We ate good food, visited and danced- something I haven't done it years! I also visited with my family and they got to see Josie.

Daddy, daughter time...

Joe was playing the guitar and Josie decided to join him. They were SO cute! It was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen... They just both looked so calm and happy.

Joe's Company picnic

Joe's company rented out a pavillion and the train at City park. It was really cute and they had great food- Mexican! The picnic only lasted an hour or so before the rain set in... too bad.

Fort Collins storm...

Ok. This is the WORST rain I have ever been in! I'm sure it was record breaking. We could see only about 10 feet in front of us- most everyone was pulled off to the side of the road with their hazards on. It was scary! This picture is right behind our house. Of course, it just happened to be the night of Joe's company picnic!

Here is some cute art work I did for Josie's room. It turned out really great and I am so excited for her room to come together! Photos of both the kids rooms coming soon... I know you just can't wait.

Just hanging out...

Josie looked too cute today so I decided to take some pictures of her. She is still happy and sweet as ever. The only way I can do her hair anymore is a ponytail- it's getting so long! She has started to roll over and everytime I put her on her back she wants to sit up. So we're working on it. Cooper joined in toward the end...

Denver Aquarium

We went to the Aquarium today with our church playgroup. It was really fun and Cooper loved the sharks! The drive wasn't too bad and we had a great turnout. The aquarium itself was pretty good. Mostly tons of different kinds of fish and a few sharks. There was a HUGE crab that I thought was the coolest part.

Julie's wedding...

We took a road trip to Utah and the kids actually did really well for the 7 hour car ride. Joe's sister- Julie was getting married in Solitude and it was SO beautiful! The mountains are SO gorgeous there! It really makes me miss Utah- ok, I'm done missing it. We had such a blast with Joe's family and just enjoying the vacation and time in the mountains. The wedding was beautiful and Joe's mom made Josie the cutest little dress! We all stayed in one big condo together and it was really fun. Cooper slept in the bathroom and Josie slept with just her diaper on. It was SO hot and we had no air conditioning! But regardless- it was still really fun. The next day we rode the lift up to the top of the mountain and just hiked around for a minute. Coopers favorite part about the trip- the water slide that he did all by himself!
