Utah Trip...

We decided to head to Utah for Easter... I was getting a little spring fever and needed a change of scenery! The drive out was a little rough- the kids only slept for 1 hour so I had to entertain them 7 hours! But once we got there- it was go, go, go and the kids were GREAT! Cooper did SO good on this trip! We prepped him for about 1 week on how to behave and how to be nice to his cousin T.J- it worked!! They played SO well together- it was a miracle! I have to say this was our best trip in a long time... :)

Utah Trip- Day 1

We got in very late Friday night so we slept in a little on Saturday (at least I did!). Joe woke up nice and early to go skiing with his brothers, his sister Julie and Jezni. He said they had such a blast and it couldn't have been better! The kids and I hung out with Grammy, Wendy and T.J. We went to the park and then I went to go visit with my friends in Salt Lake- Fun! Fun! That afternoon we had a big Easter Egg hunt ( I mean HUGE!) There were about 20 kids there- all cousins. It was so fun! And the weather was just right. Maureen (Joe's Aunt) put tickets in some of the eggs and set up this cute store where they could redeem their tickets- SO creative! It is so nice to spend time with family and Cooper just loves all his cousins!

Utah Trip- Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday
This morning Joe and I woke up to the sound of candy wrappers and "mmmmm". Cooper woke up nice and early and got right to work on his basket! Even before I could take a picture! As soon as Josie woke up she headed straight for the chocolate. After church we had a really nice Sunday dinner (Cooper helped Grammy set the table- what a cutie!) and then we went outside to the park- it was BEAUTIFUL!! After that, we went to Jed's house and hung out with Joe's dad and the kids. They had such a blast riding 4-wheelers, motorcycles, a new truck and playing in the dirt! We LOVE and miss Utah- look at that view from Jed's house!

Utah Trip- Day 3

Josie looked just like a little Beetle bug! With her little pig tails and her big booty! (I forgot her swim diaper and bathing suite)

Cooper and T.J had SO much fun at the pool together!

Today we went to the pool with the kids then to the park. That night we took Jane out to dinner at Tepanyaki for dinner- YUM!

Children's Museum- Gateway center
We went up to Salt Lake on our way home and hit the children's museum. It was SO cute! I got so many great ideas for my business and the kids had a blast. We even reunited with our old friends Laura, Bailey and Burke from Lake Tahoe- good times!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cooper!

Today Cooper turned 3! It is so amazing how fast time goes by. We celebrated his birthday on Saturday and had a small party with a few of his closets friends. It was perfect for Cooper- He can't handle too many people. They bounced in his bounce castle, played in the sand box (thanks Joe for all your hard work building it!), made pizzas and decorated their own Sundays! It was great.












Cooper is quite the kid let me tell you. I don't even know where to start...
I guess it starts from his birth! I was in labor for 32 hours and then had to have a C-section. This kid didn't want to come out-he is SO stubborn that way! He is EXTREMELY active. He's always into something. He is such a daredevil- he has NO fear. He is ALWAYS pushing the limit! He can be so much fun- he is hilarious and says the funniest things! He LOVES trucks, trains and cars. He is SUCH a BOY!! Cooper is VERY independent- he has to do everything himself. He is VERY SOCIAL. He loves to be around other kids and just play. He is ALWAYS on the GO! Every hour or so he asks me "What are we gonna do next mom?" Every morning he wakes up and says "Let's go bye bye Mom." He also loves his sister Josie- he loves to chase her and give her her pacifier or bottle. He can be sweet (Rarely- but it happens!) Let's just say Cooper keeps us on our toes every second. We are very blessed to have him in our lives- he has taught us so much (especially patience and tolerance! :) We love you Cooper!

Happy Birthday- From Grammy Ann

Thanks to Grammy Ann Cooper and Josie now have a new play kitchen! They love it and Cooper has been making breakfast all day and running from the real fridge to his fridge putting our food in it. Today I found Hershey's chocolate syrup, spray butter, salad dressing and parmesan cheese all hidden in his little fridge- silly kid. Thanks Mom!

Blowin' bubbles...

Leave it to Joe to make the "ultimate" bubble blower! It was so nice outside and there was a slight breeze so it was perfect for bubbles- and these were HUGE bubbles!
